Objectives:
By the end of the course the delegate will:

• Have a basic knowledge of fire precaution/prevention
• Be aware of the elements for fire to start and continue to burn
• Be aware of the classification of fires
• Be aware of the types of extinguishers
• Be able to safely operate an extinguisher

Introduction:
Fire Wardens / Fire Marshals in the Workplace is a stand-alone short course for all who have specific fire evacuation/safety responsibility.

• Be aware of the principles of prompt and safe evacuation
• Be aware of the types of extinguishers
• Be able to safely operate an extinguisher
• Be able to safely and regularly visually inspect on-site extinguishers
